1.4. Upload

Upload generally

It is possible to upload the image types gif, png and jpg. All images uploaded through the administration is resized to a standard upload size that can be changed from CONTROL PANEL > SETTINGS. Default setting is max 640 x 480 px.

The background remains transparent, when uploading png images with transparent background.

Multi-Upload

In HostedShop a general multi-upload function is used for picture upload. The upload function is integrated in e.g. picture gallery, news module, user module and products.

The following limitations have to be respected for all modules, where the multi-upload is accessible:

1. The picture size can not exceed 20 MB
2. The picture DPI can not exceed 96 DPI
3. The picture resolution can not exceed 4000x4000px
4. It is not possible to upload more than 50 pictures at a time
