4.2.4. Related products

As the name applies you can attach related products to an article. It could for instance be that you want to relate a T-shirt with a Superman logo to a T-shirt with a Batman logo. When the customer chooses the Batman T-shirt he will like that be presented to the Superman T-shirt, as a product there relates to the Batman T-shirt. Related products are products often from the same category – In the above example you will be able to find both T-shirts in the category “Super heroes”

 

Example – Relate Product In the following an example will be use to explain how you can relate products. As an example we relate a “Batman T-shirt” to our product “Superman T-shirt”. This means that the customer also will get a “Batman T-shirt” shown when he clicks on “Superman T-shirt”.

 

 

1. Relate Product   To relate two products you have to choose the product in the product catalogue that you want to relate another product to. We want the “Batman T-shirt” shown when the customer clicks on our “Superman T-shirt” – therefore we choose “Superman T-shirt” in the product catalogue. 2. Choose product   Now the only thing you have to do is to choose ”Batman T-Shirt” from the list. 3. Finish   You have now finish – click on ”Add product”.
